Brief Intro

Robert Howard was elected the Alderman for the Ward of Cornhill in the City of London in October 2015. Previously he was Councilman for the Ward of Lime Street.

Robert has worked for over 20 years at Charles Stanley, a listed investment management and stockbroking firm based in the City.  He is the fourth generation of his family to work in the business and to be involved in the civic City.

He is Chairman of the City Corporation’s Investment Committee, which oversees the authority’s property and investment portfolios, and Deputy Chair of the Social Investment Board.

The role of Councilman is unpaid and non-political, representing a commitment to the civic life of the City of London.
